Come to Foix in the Ariège Pyrénées, in the depths of natural beauty and history. Learn to pot in a sunny, tranquil setting. Chapeliers sits at the foot of the castle rock in the heart of medieval Foix, close to shops, markets and restaurants. Foix is a perfect base for many excursions and day trips. We offer three different courses at special prices for 2009.

Taster course Create in a weekend a series of slab pots, coiled pots, thrown pots, or a combination of all three.	2 days 1pm – 5 pm 80 Euros in total including 5 kg of finished pots

Crash course

In five days learn about:

pinching, slabbing, coiling, throwing, turning, decorating, glazing and firing.

5 days

1pm – 5pm

200 Euros in total including 7 kg of finished pots

Foundation course

Suitable for locals or those setting up their own pottery:

Includes all above plus smoke firing, glaze technology and mould making.
